How to Help the Future of Fencing
With Giving Tuesday around the corner, we wanted to share with you all how to help the future of fencing. Supporting NWFC and the entire fencing community just got easier! Thanks to a brand-new addition to our website, you can now set up recurring donations or make singular contributions with a credit or debit card.
Intro Sessions
Intro Sessions are designed for athletes with no fencing experience so they can learn the basics of footwork and fencing vocabulary. These small, coach-guided sessions help our new fencers jump right in to their first group class. Northwest Fencing Center offers Intro Sessions to adults and teens above 13 years old, and for children 7-12. Please read below to see which Intro Session is right for you.

We encourage all our athletes that visit for camps or travel to our tournaments to explore the area while they are here. From outdoorsy options like the abundance of hiking trails to family-friendly nightlife and a plethora of craft beer, there is something in our city sure to catch anyone’s attention.
Squad Locker
Squad Locker is a service NWFC uses to offer Club Gear to athletes, parents, and other fans. You can use the online store to purchase shirts, hats, sweatshirts, and more – all representing NWFC!
Warm-Ups
Warm-Ups are required to be worn on all podiums at regional, state, and national events. This includes Pacific Northwest Cups, RYCs, SYCs, ROCs, NACs, JOs, and more.
Equipment Lists
At NWFC, we do not ask that our new fencers purchase a complete fencing uniform right away. Instead, we require our athletes to have specific pieces of equipment in order to graduate from one class to the next.

Stenciling from Marx Enterprises
Stenciling from Marx Enterprises is how the majority of our fencers at NWFC get their last name stenciled on their fencing gear. Owned by NWFC Member, current Board President, and long-time fencer Bob Marx himself.
Information about Financial Aid
The Northwest Fencing Center Financial Aid program is available to current and potential members. Financial aid cannot be applied to required membership fees. You must complete the 4-week Intro Session before applying for Financial Aid.
Volunteering
Volunteering at Northwest Fencing Center takes on many forms! As a non-profit, NWFC is committed to keeping operating costs as low as possible so we can keep providing fencing to our communities.
