On March 16, 2020, Northwest Fencing Center closed for training, consistent with the State of Oregon Executive Order. NWFC staff, board members, and our Back to the Strip Task Force are working hard to have the club ready so we can reopen for training once it is safe, prudent, and consistent with Oregon and CDC guidelines.
The good news is, this fencing community is resilient, compassionate, and has a record of achievement on and off the strip. We recently finished an expansion and then hosted our largest and most epic tournament. And we will do it all again!
In the meantime we need your help. NWFC's staff and the Board of Directors are analyzing all aspects of club operations to guide us forward during the current closure. This loss of income will significantly impact NWFC's ability to maintain labor and rent expenses.
