We are extremely proud of our graduating fencers, and will be introducing them over the next several weeks. If you see them, wish them well in their future endeavors!
In 2014, while a high school freshman, Konon stepped aside from his dubious soccer career and tried fencing. His dad had fenced before and suggested he try the sport, knowing it would be a good fit for Konon’s quick feet and strategic mind. Beyond the piste, Konon can be found with his viola. He has played with Portland’s Metropolitan Youth Symphony, the Youth Philharmonic, and Grant High School. He also enjoys working on the school’s plays and musicals, and in whatever spare time he has left, Konon likes to play video games, read, watch movies and is a smart and vicious board game player.
